I enjoyed this book, despite the heroine's several TSTL moments. Most of us can refrain from inspecting the basement when we know there's an axe-murderer on the loose; most of us don't put on lingerie first. Just sayin'. Luckily, the author gives the hero a couple of TSTLs, just to even things out. I do wonder, though why one character's fortress of a house has a swimming pool that's so easy to wander into.Despite the flaws, I liked the characters and plot lines. I'd probably give this book four stars if I didn't need to suspend disbelief about the above. I did buy the second of these two books.

I liked this book. I expected more love and romance and maybe some military action.
Great book. Hope the author has more books coming from this.
I really enjoyed this book. The story kept me intrigued and flowed smoothly. I think it dealt with the subject of combat injury and all that can follow very well.
Unbelievably FAST! HOT and SEXY! Realistic military details, indepth characters, Funny in just the right spots. I buy everything Ms. Lane writes. Everything. Everytime. Because she's an awesome read.
It was a short read so it took to long for the H/ h to get together..reminded me of a Harleguin romance..like a little more spice in my books, especially if they have a sexy, special ops hero......
Fast paced, action packed read. Great story line kept me on the edge of my seat with suspense. This story starts in Iraq with a military theme of a dangerous rescue situation. A great read for anyone interested in military plus a good spark of romance. Kathy Lane is a talented author and I have read several of her books.
This is a new to me author and I'll be reading more from her. I loved this book. The action was great, the characters were well rounded and best of all - the editing was superb. No first person tenses, no spelling mistakes, no missing words (that I found anyway).
The story itself is split into two parts, which most of the action being in the first half. The only reason this book got four rather than five stars is that there were a couple of things that happened in the first half that I would have liked more closure on.
One other thing to note Even though this is book two, the events actually occur prior to book one (Sniper Shots). If like me you like to read events in order then pick this one up first and save Sniper Shots and read after
